Well folks, it finally happened. BabyK is walking (fog horn, fog horn)! Last Sunday she had graduated to taking 5-6 steps on her own going back and forth between adults. This Sunday, she was confident with taking a few more steps as she compelted her circuits. But this morning BabyK walked on her own to the local arena with minimal assistance. No adult hands, no walker, just her own two feet.

We’ve waited for this day for what seems like forever. Although it means the end of a more stationary era, it means the beginning of so much more. Today I’ve been blessed with a sweet glimpse into a future of BabyK's soccer games, track races and dance recitals. But more importantly; I've been blessed with assurance that God truly does hold her in His hands, and He is still listening to my calls.
Although it’s hard to still be waiting for baby orthotics, if I’ve been reminded of anything today it is that everything will be beautiful in its time.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."
