After working my high school summers as a camp counselor, I became a firm believer that if you wanted to laugh at your job you should work with kids. Now I get to experience this phenomena at home with BabyK.
She is constantly making me laugh, even if she isn't awake. Pretty early on, we found ourselves spending several hours re-watching cute videos and pictures of BabyK on our phones. If this kid got royalties for every time her videos were watched, she would be set for her post-secondary education expenses!

There are countless things she does that humour me. For starters, her once adorable giggle has turned into a sarcastic hack. This of course creates an endless loop of me laughing at her, and her laughing at me. For another, her facial expressions can be down-right priceless. Seeing a half-bald chubby faced mini human snarl can be quite comical.
What really surprises me is her impeccable timing for passing gas.
~I'm just going to put this out there; farts still get a laugh out of me. I can't explain why. By all other accounts I consider myself a fairly mature individual but when it comes to toots, I just can't help it. I suppose this also makes children more entertaining as 98% of their humour is butt-related. If you don't feel the same, here is your opportunity to skip the following paragraph and no judgments will be made. ~
One night as my husband was changing her, he decided to have a closer look to make sure nothing was missed while wiping. Of course the moment his face approached the danger zone, BabyK let one rip. And I mean rip. I could have sworn my husband's hair waved in the freshly expressed wind.
He might not feel the same way about the moment considering his point of view. I however, will treasure seeing the sweetest smile she gave with her hand folded by her chin and my husband's sigh of relief.
I have enjoyed time with BabyK more than I could have ever imagined and she hasn't even began to speak recognizable words. Every day is filled with her little quirks and surprises.
What has your little one done to brighten your day?
