She finally came. After 30+ hours of labour, an unplanned epidural and last minute position correction, I delivered my baby into this world. Ten days had passed since the due date and at last I knew we would be bringing home a baby girl. When asked what the experience was like, I could only describe giving birth as the hardest thing I had ever done in my life; hard, but do-able.
The relief of childbirth being over and the peace experienced after receiving my epidural were feelings I learned to savor.
As I held my child for the very first time, I was too exhausted to realize that this new chapter of motherhood had actually began.
Everyone has a different story. How did yours begin?
Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Him who gives me strength."
